Is Loanstreet a Mortgage Broker?
No. Loanstreet provides an entirely new service for checking loan eligibility with ALL banks. Results are generated via a system that was developed over 1.5 years. This service is now open to Real Estate Agents to check the eligibility of their customers. If a purchase has been made, loans can also be submitted directly to the relevant banks via this system. Loanstreet never meets with the customer face-to-face.
Are Loanstreet’s services free of charge?
Yes. The service is free of charge for consumers and real estate agents alike.
Can Loanstreet provide loan eligibility checking even if customer has not made a booking?
Yes. As long as the customer consents to the checking.
Can Loanstreet provide property valuations?
Yes. Valuations will be provided by various banks only if proof of booking is provided and customer qualifies for a loan.
Is Loanstreet’s screening standardized for every bank?
No. The different credit scoring criteria of different partner banks is configured into our system to provide results that are as accurate to each bank as possible.
How accurate is Loanstreet’s eligibility check?
Our track record shows our accuracy to be at 80% or more. Where there are inaccuracies, it is usually due to customers not being able to provide sufficient documentation to banks.
Does Loanstreet have access to customer’s CCRIS?
Yes, Loanstreet does have access to the customer's CCRIS but it is only upon request. The charges for obtaining the report will be borne by the customer, and it will only be viewable by Loanstreet for internal usage (checking for loan eligibility).
Will the customer’s CCRIS and complete profile be shared with Real Estate Agents?
No. Only the max eligibility results for bank loans will be shared.
How fast is the turn-around time if I submit a customer’s loan application via Loanstreet?
Provided the customer is contactable, results for the initial credit assessment will be available within 1 working day. Collection of loan documents will be arranged within 1 working day by the bank, and customer can know their loan approval within 7 working days from the day complete documents are collected.
Do customers have to login to Loanstreet’s website to apply for a loan?
No. Requests submitted by real estate agents on behalf of clients are sufficient.
Can Loanstreet provide loan eligibility checking for companies as well?
Yes. However, due to the more complex nature of business credit, the accuracy of the screening may vary from case to case.
